Worked at my pace, challenged me (in a good way, for learning), and personalized the lesson to my needs and level (absolute beginner). Gave me directions for self-learning without me having to ask. Great teacher based on the first lesson.

it was only a trial lesson, but it was so nice speaking with emma! besides being lovely and personable, she had an instant sense of my ability and was able to match me where I was, while providing lots of new vocabulary and reinforcing proper sentence structure
