Olesia

I’ve been studying English with Olesia for two years now, and it has been an absolute pleasure. Olesia always comes to the lessons well prepared and brings interesting topics for discussion. Thanks to her, I’ve learned many new words and I use them regularly. She explains everything clearly and presents the material in a very structured and engaging way, which makes learning both easy and practical. With Olesia, I’m not afraid to make mistakes because she shows that mistakes are also an important part of the learning process. She is always supportive and motivating, and her positive attitude makes every lesson enjoyable. I’m really grateful to be learning with such a wonderful teacher❤️

Olesia is a wonderful teacher! A few months ago, I decided that I was going to learn Ukrainian from scratch and, given that this would be my first language in the Slavic group, I started right away with Olesia. I'm so glad I made that decision! We've had more or less weekly lessons since then and my progress has been steady, thanks to her. She's a driven, but compassionate and patient, teacher and she's done a fantastic job of providing resources and introducing me to helpful beginner's media in Ukrainian. She's also got a great sense of humor! The fact that she speaks Italian, too, is a bonus as we often have fun translating phrases into Italian, but her English is excellent, too, which of course I needed since I was starting from A0. So, if you're looking for a Ukrainian teacher, I highly recommend Olesia! I plan to stay with her for the continuance of my linguistic journey!

Olesia has been my English teacher for almost half year, and I truly can not express how grateful I am to her. Our lessons are always very enjoyable, yet highly practical. I can clearly see that she tailors each lesson to my individual needs. She is always well prepared, and I genuinely appreciate the materials and examples we work with during our lessons. Thanks to her guidance, I have noticed a significant improvement in my communication skills, and I now naturally use many of the phrases we have learned together. I have worked with several teachers before, but Olesia truly stands out. Her lessons are never boring, and beyond her exceptional language skills, I greatly admire her personality. She creates a positive, motivating atmosphere that makes learning both effective and fun.

I started meeting with Olesia a little over two years ago, when I only knew the Ukrainian alphabet. Since then, we've covered grammar concepts like cases and conjugations of verbs in different forms, studied a lot of vocabulary, and done hours of speaking practice. My Ukrainian has improved a lot in just a couple of years and I feel much more confident in my abilities. Several months ago, she helped me prepare for a Ukrainian speaking test, where I was able to achieve an Advanced score thanks to her help. These days, we discuss new vocabulary from the books I’m reading in Ukrainian and are beginning to analyze the works of well-known Ukrainian poets. It’s been very rewarding to move on to more challenging topics and see how far I’ve come with her lessons. I’m really grateful to have found Olesia as a tutor. She is very invested in my progress and always tailors our lessons to my goals and interests. I highly recommend her to those interested in learning Ukrainian!

I’ve only had one lesson with Olesia so far, and I’m already convinced I’ll continue learning with her. She’s genuinely full of energy, never wastes a minute, always brings a great mood to the lesson, and she also speaks Spanish. That turned out to be even more helpful than I expected, since Ukrainian seems to share certain structures with Spanish, which makes some concepts easier to grasp. I think she really gets the point that to learn a language you need to make the learning process fun and approachable, and she does a fantastic job at that whilst being deligent and making sure I understand the material. She has an excellent plan and structure for learning Ukrainian but is also flexible to tailor vocabulary and phrases to meet my situation. Her ability to explain Ukrainian grammar makes our class time very efficient.
