I'm easy-going, detail-oriented and patient. I'm experienced as a Mandarin Chinese tutor as I started tutoring on italki back in 2011, and I know what aspects of Mandarin Chinese learners may struggle. • Mandarin Speech Sounds and Tones class is mainly for Mandarin Chinese beginners. Mandarin Chinese is a tonal language, so the class is all about Mandarin Chinese tones practice and correction.
• We can do role-playing and topic talk in Spoken Chinese session to practice your conversational skills. Talk about whatever that interests you in Chinese, Chinese culture, history, etc.
• Chinese Reading and Writing is for upper intermediate to advanced level learners. We can focus on vocabulary learning and sentence structure in reading and writing session.

Spent awhile trying to learn Chinese with books and courses until found this site and met Micky. It was change like after walking for 20 kilometers finally catch a taxi. He is definitely talented teacher and linguist. Thanks Micky.

Micky is an excellent teacher. We had a conversation based on the topics he had prepared, and he corrected my mistakes and guided the conversation in a way that made it easier for me to speak Chinese. It was a very enjoyable Chinese lesson, and I highly recommend him to everyone.

Great first impression, did not waiste time and got straight to it. Collected a small amount of information about myself and used it in the first lesson. He understood my lack of ability and was patient and understanding. I will book another lesson!
