Hi, I’m Jon, a UK English educator with 10+ years’ experience helping ambitious learners make clear, measurable progress.

Not only does he have a very high level of teaching and can improve students' English skills in all aspects, but he is also a very honest, friendly and caring friend. I really enjoyed my trial lesson with Jon. He’s professional, structured, and very exam-focused. He gave clear feedback using the IELTS speaking criteria (FC/LR/GRA/P) and explained why I’m currently around Band 5.5.
What I found most helpful was his guidance on improving fluency—keeping answers simpler, using a clear structure, and reducing fillers like “uh/um”. He also corrected mistakes and gave practical examples of better wording.
I’d recommend Jon to students who want clear IELTS speaking assessment and targeted improvement.
