We thoroughly covered the assessment criteria - Task Achievement or Task Response, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource and Grammatical Range and Accuracy. The course augmented my existing classroom skills and practice, focusing on specific exercises to help IELTS candidates achieve the band they need.

My English was rather rusty, but thanks to Tess, I am now fluent again. She is a truly excellent teacher, thoughtful, attentive, always ready to prepare materials and personalise your lessons. Her schedule is also very flexible, which is convenient for those who, like me, work. I would also add her personal qualities: Tess is an intelligent, sensitive person (she writes!) and also has a wonderful sense of humour. In short: highly recommended.
