I love class with Alice! She is so encouraging. I never feel rushed, and I feel like I am making progress with each and every class. When I have trouble with pronunciation, she always finds a way to help me remember how to say things correctly. By the end of class, the words that were a struggle at the beginning feel roll right off the tongue. I highly recommend Alice, she puts so much energy into her teaching and always has recommendations for listening materials I can use outside of class.

I’ve been searching for years and Alice is one of the very few who teaches Teochew dialect. As a language learner and also a language tutor myself, I really appreciate how Alice is a dedicated and professional teacher. Her instructions are clear, methodical, easy-to-follow. She is well prepared and goes the extra mile to provide feedback after class. Teochew is my heritage language which I’m trying to relearn.
