I have two University degrees and I have been teaching finnish and swedish both for beginners and business people. I have also worked as a translator. I begin planning my lessons after I have talked with the customer, and I know her/his level and what is the goal of the person. Heikki is very helpful and easy to talk to. He's not someone that you feel dumb making a mistake with. He's always patient and helps you formulate your sentences in a more natural or native way.
I would recommend anyone trying to learn Finnish to work with Heikki to practice speaking and listening

Heikki is a great Finnish teacher! Our 30-minute lessons are super productive. He asks questions, gives examples or cross-questions me about the chapters I study, which helps me understand better. It allows me to construct sentences on fly and test my understanding of the subject. We have good discussions, and I always learn a lot. I really recommend him if you want to learn Finnish!
