I recently had my first Japanese lesson on italki with Shun, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with his teaching skills. Shun was able to create a comfortable and engaging learning environment that made it easy for me to ask questions and participate in the lesson. His teaching style was both effective and patient, and he was able to tailor the lesson to my specific needs and skill level. I appreciated how he focused on both grammar and conversational skills, which helped me to make progress quickly. Shun's friendly and approachable demeanor made the lesson enjoyable and easy to follow. Overall, I highly recommend Shun as a Japanese teacher on italki, and I look forward to continuing my studies with him.

We are learning more vocabulary and verbs plus conjugations begins tomorrow. I am so happy i can cry . I am greatly looking forward to this lesson . And as usual the teacher always seems to know the best pace for me and method of conveying the teachings!!! I thank Shunsuke for every lesson as i am constantly being driven closer to one of my greatest dreams.

Great first lesson, clear well laid out plan for future lessons with a structured assessment of my current level against Genki that was undertaken very casually but thoroughly. Overall a very friendly conversation with gentle nudging in the right direction with tenses and vocabulary too.

Amazing class! Shunsuke 先生 knew accurately where my level was based on my self studying of a specific Genki chapter and targeted/reinforced my weak areas. He did a great job fine tuning the class to my needs. He also seems very flexible in switching the style of the class from a conversational type to a more traditional classroom type if you would like him to explain things in a deeper level. His podcasts are also a gem as they reflect the grammar and vocabulary of the Genki textbook. I will definitely consider taking classes from him on a regular basis!

Just had a lovely, first conversation with Shun-san. Shun-san is at least as inspiring in person as he is in his videos and podcasts. Very helpful and fun conversation.
