Labas! Hello! Привет! 🌻
I’m Ingrida — a Lithuanian native from a cozy town called Alytus, now living in Vilnius.
I’m a geographer turned graphic designer, which probably explains why I’m always curious about people, cultures, and stories.
I love art, design, music, movies, cycling, and — of course — mushroom picking (a true Lithuanian hobby!). 🍄
In my lessons I bring a lot of energy, laughter, and creativity — because learning a language should never feel boring or too formal.
Let’s talk, make mistakes, and have fun — that’s how real learning happens. 💬✨
Ja jako nauczyciel
For 3 years on italki I’ve taught over 150 students from 20+ countries — from shy beginners to confident speakers. 🌍
My average rating was 4.99/5, but what truly matters to me is seeing students start thinking and talking in Lithuanian.
I’m a flexible, creative and supportive tutor who believes language learning is not about perfection — it’s about connection.
Lithuanian might look tricky, but it’s full of beauty, humor and rhythm.
I’ll help you enjoy the process, step by step — with patience, empathy and a bit of Lithuanian magic. ✨
Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
My lessons are friendly, flexible and full of real-life Lithuanian.
We’ll use textbooks, YouTube videos, songs, memes, and even everyday stories to make learning natural and fun. 🎶
I focus on conversation first — grammar comes in naturally (unless you’re a grammar fan — then we’ll dive deep into it together!).
Each lesson is built around you: your goals, your pace, your interests.
Together, we’ll build confidence step by step — and you’ll see how Lithuanian starts to make sense (and sound beautiful too!). 🌿

Great lesson! I was so glad to be your first student!
We had a very interesting conversation about Christmas and cultures, it was really fun to compare our differences.
Ingrida was very helpful with the Lithuanian grammar mistakes I made.
As our first lesson together, we spent a lot of time focussing on where I need help and my level of Lithuanian, which is great practice!
I cannot wait for our next lesson, and I really recommend her to anyone that wants a good informal tutoring session. :)

I regret to write such a review as it is the first(and hopefully last) time I'm ever on Italki for many years. The teacher reacted very unprofessionally after my constructive and friendly feedback about our first lesson in order to carry it out even more efficient and fruitful lessons-without saying any negative words/words that could be hurtful or misunderstood and even bought a lesson pack to show my trust. In return, I was responded with yelling, saying this is all she has, I should leave her as "she's not a teacher" and I should look for something else. Why would someone react that negatively and unprofessionally instead of having a constructing feedback as a takeaway and being thankful? For fellow learners, if you want to learn Lithuanian, there are few more tutors out here. Also, you can also revise(if you live in the country) your local options(colleagues, friends, partner) or other forms of tutoring(local language courses)
