I’ve been meeting with Josué for almost a year now, and he has been nothing short of a remarkable and inspiring teacher. There is never a day when I don’t look forward to our conversations, and I truly feel that my vocabulary and understanding of grammar expand after every session with him. His kindness, intelligence, humor, and organization shine through in everything he does, and I am so thankful to have the opportunity to learn from such a wonderful teacher and person. He provides constant support and encouragement and always points me in the right direction whenever I feel confused. I have improved so much over the past year thanks to him, and I’m so excited for all the sessions still to come! Thank you for being the best teacher I could ask for, Josué. You’re awesome!

I have been having italki lessons with Josué for several months and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is really patient has a great sense of humour and always tailors the conversation to themes you are interested in. He is excellent at providing you with authentic Spanish sayings and also often send you interesting links to articles, videos and podcasts in Spanish that reflect your interests. And best of all when I recently visited Spain I found that I was much more confident in conversing with locals after my lessons with Josué. A real gem of a teacher.

I started taking lessons with Josué before a trip to Spain and only planned to take a few classes. That was two years ago, and I’m still learning with him. Not only because I keep improving my Spanish, but also because our conversations are always interesting and enjoyable. Thanks to his lessons, I can now speak spontaneously with locals in Spain, read museum information, and use Spanish audio guides with confidence. As a language teacher myself, I particularly appreciate how he adapts his teaching to my progress. At the beginning, he spoke very clearly and at a measured pace. As my skills improved, his Spanish became more natural and authentic, gradually introducing me to real-life language use. I highly recommend Josué to anyone looking for a professional, flexible, and engaging teacher.

We talked about books in this lesson, which is one of my favourite topics. We shared some of our experiences with reading, borrowing and buying books. I enjoy sharing my thoughts in Spanish with Josué because he is always very patient and encouraging when I’m finding the right words, and he also teaches me new and relevant vocabulary each time.
