Joanna is a kind, engaging, and very knowledgeable teacher. My mandarin has improved dramatically in a very short time just by taking a few lessons with her. She is very helpful with understanding pronunciation, tones, sentence structure and also the cultural aspects of the mandarin language that let you sound like a real person and not a dictionary. I would HIGHLY recommend.
