SI Alexandre

I haven’t written a review for a while but will post a new review to say that I have been learning French with Alex for over two and a half years now and our conversations continue to inspire, encourage and motivate me to persist with this difficult challenge of being an adult learner in a second language! Thank you Alexandre 😊

Having just completed a series of 20 lessons with Alex, I’d like to give my overall impression. Alex is a naturally gifted communicator, a bit of a “find-outer”. He asks interesting questions to tease out the story you’re trying to tell. Bearing in mind that language is for communication, this natural ability to listen and elicit information makes Alex an excellent language teacher. In 20 lessons, we’ve covered a wide range of topics (music, history, politics, travel, food … even jokes and gossips). It’s been a fun and rewarding experience. Thank you so much.

I was a little nervous about my first French lesson but Alex was very easy to talk to and kept the conversation going at a good comprehension level for me. Looking forward to the next lesson!

I've had several teachers on this platform, but I feel most at ease talking to Alex. He has a natural way of carrying the conversation and not making you feel judged at all.

Ce soir, on a discuté de la façon de faire une glace à la banane, des étapes, des ingrédients, du vocabulaire culinaire…j’ai la banane !! et une petite discussion sur le travail dans une chocolaterie.

Il est facile de parler a Alex. Il sait écouter et il pose de bonnes des question pour avancer la conversation.
