Hello everyone, my name is Fernando from Peru. I am a Ph.D. candidate in Hispanic Studies at McGill University. I have been a Spanish teacher for over thirteen years in Cusco, Peru, and multiple online platforms. My classes not only focus on learning the language's grammar but also on developing communication skills. I am a published writer and have instructed courses in Latin American literature, art and culture, tools I use to enrich classes and student learning. I enjoy books, movies, music, art, gastronomy, and travel. I am very interested in different cultures and meeting new people. A mi me gusta mucho el hecho que puedo hablar mucho durante la clase. Lo que necesito mas es la posibilidad de mejorar mi habilidad de comunicarme en castellano. Y el hielo rompio gracias a la ayuda del profesor. Las correcciones de mis errores son invaluables. La clase es super interesante.

Fernando is very patient and takes the time to explain when things are not clear. Moreover, even if you spanish is limited, he really helps you to overcome that struggle of not knowing how to say things.
