I started teaching Chinese when I moved to the UK in 2021. Before that, I worked in China for seven years in sales and management. I hold a degree in Arabic Language and Literature, which has given me valuable insight into language learning from a learner’s perspective.
I’m learning Spanish using the same comprehensible input method. Putting myself in my students’ shoes helps me refine my teaching while enjoying the process of learning a new language.Ja jako nauczyciel

My lessons are based on the Comprehensible Input (CI) approach, you’ll acquire Chinese in a natural way, just as you learned your first language.
There are no textbooks, flashcards, or grammar drills, only stories and topics you enjoy. Even as a complete beginner, you’ll be surprised by how much Chinese you can understand from your very first lesson.
To get the most out of our lessons, I encourage you to listen to lots of Chinese outside of class — stories or conversations you can understand. Consistent comprehensible input is the key!Moje materiały dydaktyczne

Jessica is a wonderful conversation tutor! I have booked many lessons with her, and our conversations have been so helpful in supplementing my Chinese studies. She's great at helping me pick up words when I forget certain vocabulary and she has plenty of patience when I need a little more time to organize my sentences. She's so kind and a great teacher overall. I can't recommend her enough!

The lesson went well because Jessica prepared well and has a good English level so she can explain things in detail. I'm quite a demanding student so this was important for me. Also, she gave me useful feedback post-lesson and things to work on for my following lesson. Recommend.

她是個好老師！Jessica is a great teacher! I have been studying with her for almost 6 months now, and have learned so much. Jessica is kind, and organised, has excellent classroom and homework materials that are appropriate for my language goals, and keeps our lessons fresh and exciting.
