Hi, I´m Francisca!
I´ve been teaching for over five years now and have broad experience with students at a beginner, intermediate and advanced level. I enjoy getting to know new people, new cultures and hear different life stories.
I grew up I Norway close to Oslo and have a very clear and easy to understand "bokmål" accent. I´ve also lived in Colombia for 10 years now and speak Spanish fluently. I ´ve studied pedagogy and love teaching both children, youth and grown ups!
I´ve helped many hundreds students gain more confidence when it comes to speaking and understanding the language, or with reaching specific goals like preparing for Norskprøven at any level from A1-C1.Ja jako nauczyciel
I always adapt my teaching to your needs and level. I consider myself patient and easy going and try to build confidence in my students. I think that it is through trying, failing, and trying again that you learn best. I enjoy both a free conversation and a more structured lesson depending on the students needs and goals. I belive the most important aspect to improve your communicative skills in a new language is through conversation, therefore this will be the main focus in our classes. We will talk about different topics that are of interest, such as news, cultures, likes and dislikes. We will also practice general common conversation topics that can be useful to you. If you want to improve your writing or grammar skills, I can give you a hand by explaining grammar rules or by correcting written assignments.

Just had my second session and feeling really positive and motivated, it's great to practice speaking and be able to check and correct words as I go, and Francisca is so clearly spoken and pleasant to speak to! Looking forward to my next session, I'll be revising my new words!

Francisca was excellent at making me feel comfortable at my level and giving me simple vocabulary and resources to start with. I felt very at ease but engaged while Francisca and I talked. I enjoyed the trial lesson so much that I immediately booked a longer lesson, I really feel Francisca will help me achieve my language goals while keeping the experience feeling natural, engaging and relaxed.
