Every class is full of useful vocabulary and cultural insight. Sherri is always well prepared and makes you feel comfortable practicing new things. I used to be so scared to speak Chinese because I was embarrassed to make mistakes, but over time she’s really helped me overcome those fears, reorient my learning mindset, and gain confidence as a student. Can’t recommend her highly enough.

Had a great experience with my first lesson as a beginner. She was patient when I struggled with pronunciation and gave me resources to help practice where I was weakest. Looking forward to the next one.

Very well structured lesson, teacher helped kids to describe their daily activities in Chinese, then taught them some new words and practiced conversations using those new words. The class ended with some fun games using Chinese. Kids learned and had fun at the same time!

Worked on pronunciation with beginner vocabulary, very helpful to someone like me who struggles a lot with speaking aloud. Patient with my mistakes and supportive as always.
