My name's Vanessa. I run my own business as a freelance translator + English, Italian, French, Spanish online teacher. I am also a certified TEFL teacher and BE teacher.
While working ft in Accounting dept and then in Marketing dept, I got 2 Master's degrees in Translation, and could make my biggest wish come true :) I specialized in several fields - medical, business, marketing, web - in English, Spanish and French.
As a 'language learner', I've tried out myself both traditional and non-traditional methods and, as a teacher, I also create language courses for A to C levels.Ja jako nauczyciel

I guess that because of my job, I'm quite detail-oriented, but because of my personal life, I'm quite flexible. So I think both of these characteristics are present in my teaching style.
I always try to give solutions and to suggest strategies and tips. I usually stick to the objective and do my best to help you keep high motivation levels. Also, I give mistakes great importance. I offer laid-back and (hopefully!) inspiring chats. My lessons are based on everyday dialogues, where YOU will be talking 90% of the time.
We can use specific teaching materials or just improvise. I don't think you can learn a language by using traditional academic methods, that's why I offer flexible lessons starting from practical situations; however, they're always rooted in grammar and real language at the same time. I learn so much from Vanessa every session. She is definitely helping get more comfortable with speaking out loud in French. On top of that she is such a nice and lovey person!

Francesca è un’insegnante eccellente perché mi incoraggia a parlare solo in italiano. Non ci sono spiegazioni grammaticali in inglese, ma soltanto immersione totale: il modo migliore per migliorare la conversazione e l’ascolto. Francesca is an excellent teacher because she encourages me to speak only in Italian. There are no grammar explanations in English — just full immersion, which is the best way to improve speaking and listening skills.
