About Me
Learning English should be fun—not frustrating! Hi, I’m Cathy, a licensed teacher from the Philippines with a unique background in both English Education and Computer Science.
With over 11 years of experience teaching both children and adults, I’ve learned that confidence grows best in a lively, relatable environment. I specialize in conversational English, grammar, and engaging phonics for kids. Outside the classroom, I’m a Sunday school teacher, an avid reader of inspirational books, and a lover of uplifting music. These passions fuel my creative and patient teaching style. Let’s turn "difficult" into "delightful" together!
I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with six years of experience in formal school settings. Currently, I specialize as an online English educator, working with students of all levels—from absolute beginners to advanced learners. My mission is to help both children and adults sharpen their oral communication and overall English proficiency.
For me, teaching is deeply rewarding because I see the direct impact it has on my students’ lives. Nothing is more fulfilling than witnessing a student’s progress firsthand. I bring an optimistic, easy-going personality to every session, ensuring that our lessons are both productive and enjoyable. I look forward to meeting you in class.
