I am a passionate language enthusiast, currently learning Romanian. I love to travel, meet new people, and spend time learning about different cultures and issues. I have a diverse academic background in humanities and social science. My graduate work and research have revolved around empowering people through education, especially the education and immigration experiences of international students. As a Celta-certified educator, I take pride in empowering students to thrive in their new language environment, whether at a university, in a new job, or during their journey in a foreign country. The main focus is on developing fluency and confidence through interactive conversation practice. Diverse topics beyond typical ESL subjects are introduced to challenge and engage students. With engaging and thought-provoking lessons, students are provided with the opportunity to practice vocabulary needed for any situation.
