I aim to create a student-centered, communicative virtual classroom, where my student(s) are active throughout the entire class, whether conversing, listening with a goal in mind, writing, and asking/answering questions. I feel it is important to laugh and have some fun in every lesson, and welcome mistakes in order to learn and grow. If lessons aren't fun and become too burdensome for students, they might lost motivation and stop making progress toward their linguistic goals all together.Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
I have access to several textbook curriculums that I can use based on my students' needs and goals. I use visual elements like a white board, the text chat box, gestures, pictures, realia etc. to explain concepts to students in various ways. I am not afraid to stand up away from my computer and act something out, be silly, or draw pictures in order to generate understanding. I aim to create dynamic and active lessons where time passes quickly and students enjoy the learning process. I also encourage students to bring in real life language models (emails, books, articles etc.) so we can focus on what is most important to them and their lives.Świadectwa

Classroom InstructorI am currently a volunteer English instructor at Washington English Center (we have moved to virtual one-on-one classes for future terms since the COVID-19 outbreak). Before moving virtual. classes were once a week, and co-taught. We followed a textbook curriculum for a group of level 1B students. We focused on vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation along with games, presentations, and listening and speaking practice.

Krystin is EXCELLENT and I am very lucky that I found her. She is a very smart teacher, who can answer ALL your questions. Every session I learn many new words and expressions and also, she gives effective feedback about my mistakes.
I recommend such a supportive teacher to everyone.

If I could, I'd give Krystin 10 stars. Each lesson is amazingly productive. As a student, I feel comfortable during the lesson, which motivates me to learn more and more. I can recommend her classes to everyone.
