Mizuki-sensei is a very professional, detail-oriented teacher. He provides great explanations even for complicated grammar concepts, and always opens class with an interesting discussion of current events/holidays in Japan. Purchasing a lesson package with Mizuki-sensei has been one of the best investments I have made in my Japanese language studies. I highly recommend booking a lesson with Mizuki-sensei, so long as you don't take my regular time slot!

I’ really enjoy learning Japanese with my Mizuki san. They’re super patient and always take the time to explain things clearly. They explain a lot about the language and culture, which makes the lessons really interesting. The classes are well-organized and I feel like I’m learning a lot every time. Had my first practice/test lesson on italki! It was a very fun experience and the platform is a great concept for practicing. However, we both experienced some lag and the video feed kept freezing up, which was a bit disappointing. Because it was a trial lesson, the time was already quite short, so the technical issues cut into it a bit. Looking forward to the next one, hopefully with a smoother connection!
