Nihao! My name is Dai Mengli. You can also call me Spencer.
🧑🏫 I’m a certified Chinese / English teacher with over 2,000 hours of teaching experience, having taught more than 100 students from around the world since 2019.
📖 Growing up with several Chinese dialects sparked my love for languages — I later studied English, French, and German, and truly understand the journey of language learning.

🎓I hold the International Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, TEFL and Cambridge TKT, and achieved an IELTS overall score of 7.5 and TEM-8.
🌍I have over six years of experience teaching adult learners from different countries and all proficiency levels. My lessons are personalized to each learner’s goals, learning style and real-life communication needs.
📈My longest-term student has studied with me for over four years and progressed from a complete beginner to fluent daily communication.

The learning process has two parts:
In class: we practise grammar and vocabulary through real-life conversations and speaking practice.
After class: you will receive short homework (translations and follow-up exercises) to help you review and apply what you learn.

• Business communication
• Exam preparation (HSK / IELTS)
• Personalised topics based on your needs
