My name is Hanna and I'm originally from Sweden, but I love traveling and have lived in four different countries other than Sweden. I'm 28 years old and love learning new languages myself, so I can really connect with my own students in their pursuit to learn.
I taught English in both Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City and Spain, Barcelona, before moving onto mainly teaching online here on Italki. The teacher training I underwent in both Vietnam and Spain is what I carry with me to make sure my lessons are effective, fun and personalized.
The biggest lessons I've learned through teaching is that everyone is different, and lessons therefore need to be tailored to the individual student.Ja jako nauczyciel
I'm very relaxed and understanding as a teacher. I relate to how hard it can be to learn a new language so while I'm very patient and understanding I will also push and encourage you. With time and motivation anyone can learn and improve in amazing ways. Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
It's very important to first of all get a good understanding of the student's current language ability and then go from there. Pronunciation is something almost everyone struggle with and is something I will make sure to correct and practice with the student a lot.
Overall, confidence in speaking, and practicing your oral skills is what's going to improve your language skills the most (speaking from experience) so I tend to spend a lot of time on that. You can learn all the vocab and grammar in the world, but if you don't have the confidence or ability to verbalize it, it won't be of much use.

Hanna is a great teacher for those who want to practice speaking Swedish. They speak clearly and adjust well to the student, providing plenty of verbal and non-verbal feedback where needed. Hanna makes sure that lessons have a prompt (a news article or similar) to jump off of, but they are also easy to chat with. I recommend them to anyone who wants to gain more experience producing the language in a patient environment.

This is the best Swedish teacher I had in all 341 years of my life as a vampire, so I know a thing or two about trial periods. Totally recommend for any level and any type of personality.

Hanna is a super fun teacher to learn Swedish with. She is a patient and encouraging teacher who always explains the language in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. I learn something new in every lesson.
