Michael老师很文明、有文化，同时也带着一丝轻松愉快的气氛。他自己也长期学英语的，十分了解学习外语的时候的困难。话题也多，不仅是和社会、文化有关的事情，还有历史、打球等兴趣爱好也可以聊。说到爱好，特别推荐给喜欢下象棋的人，老师平时除了上班以外还教象棋的。 总的来说，老师的课我感觉都很有用也有意思，谢谢老师！

Very nice teacher, pronounces the words very well. Great to have a nice conversation

Michael is an excellent and very patient teacher. In our lesson, we read through the first chapter of Harry Potter in Chinese, which was a great way to encounter new and more complex vocabulary in a context I already understood. Michael was fantastic at explaining the subtle differences between words and idioms, such as the distinction between 邪门歪道 and 胡说八道. He also has a deep knowledge of the language, easily identifying and correcting my pronunciation on multi-tone characters like 削 in 瘦削. He provides clear, helpful examples that make difficult concepts easy to grasp. I always learn a lot and highly recommend him! 迈克尔是一位非常优秀且有耐心的老师。在这节课上，我们一起读了中文版的《哈利·波特》第一章。通过这种方式，我可以在自己熟悉的故事情节中接触到更复杂的新词汇，效果非常好。 迈克尔非常擅长讲解词语和成语之间的细微差别，比如“邪门歪道”和“胡说八道”的区别。此外，他的语言知识非常扎实，能轻松地发现并纠正我的发音，尤其是在多音字上，例如“瘦削”中的“削”字。他总是能提供清晰有用的例子，帮助我轻松理解一些比较难的概念。 我受益匪浅，强烈推荐他！

Michael is a really super teacher. Extremely careful to pronunciation and mistakes, no issue will pass unnoticed and you will definitely improve your Chinese with him, no doubt. His own pronunciation is outstanding. He not only repeats something when you forgot it by also make you recall it by yourself using some hints. He records every class so you will be always watch them between your session. He himself is calm, gentle, patient and kind. That is very important to the atmosphere and studing process. He writes all the necessary words in WeChat for your convinience. And he is also punctual and well prepared. I am going to proceed my classes with him.

Michael is a fantastic and very patient teacher. We had another great, natural conversation about my weekend and a fun cultural discussion. We also continued reading Harry Potter in Chinese, and Michael's corrections and vocabulary explanations (like 弄明白 vs. 明白, and 瞪着) were, as always, clear and very helpful. I always look forward to my classes with Michael! 迈克尔老师非常棒，也很有耐心。我们又进行了一次很愉快、很自然的对话，聊了聊我的周末，也进行了一场有趣的文化讨论。我们还继续阅读了中文版的《哈利·波特》，迈克尔老师的纠错和词汇讲解（比如“弄明白”vs“明白”，以及“瞪着”）还是一如既往地清晰，非常有用。我总是非常期待和迈克尔老师上课！
