Hyeseung Lee (혜승)

Ich nehme seit über einem Jahr Unterricht bei Hyeseung - und habe unglaublich viel von ihr gelernt. Sie bringt viele neue Ideen und spannende Themen mit, was den Unterricht super vielseitig macht. Bei 혜승 habe ich keine Angst, Fehler zu machen. Sie ist immer freundlich und geduldig. Ohne ihre Hilfe hätte ich das Koreanisch-Lernen bestimmt schon aufgegeben - aber dank Hyeseung fühlt es sich nicht wie "Arbeit" an, sondern macht einfach Spaß! Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf weitere Stunden :)

Lessons with her, as always, are amazing! Reliable, sincere and relatable but most importantly, adaptable to every students’ individual needs. As a teacher, she constantly goes above and beyond. For example, she created a podcast exclusively for her students for listening practice. Joined by her friend, Hyuna, they have natural, unscripted conversations about different topics. This demonstrates her passion to help her students in any way she can. The podcasts’ transcript is displayed directly on the video, making it much easier to follow when needed. For every episode a vocabulary sheet of difficult words is provided. Both Hyeseung and Hyuna speak at a good speed and have clear pronunciations, which is ideal for learning. While the podcast is for students who somewhat already have a basis in Korean, I recommend beginners to listen as well. Even if you can’t understand most of it yet, the listening exposure early on in your learning journey will definitely only help in the long term!!

Today I had my first lesson with Hyeseung. It was so much fun talking to her. She's really easy to talk to and also very patient. I'm looking forward to my next lesson with her.

Hyeseung teacher is the best teacher here! She´s funny, friendly, patient, and ready to help you in any situation. She is also using a real Korean which is really cool and also useful for everyday life conversation as well. 혜승 선생님이 최고예요. 되게 예쁘고 모르는 단어를 잘 설명하고 멋있어요. 모든 상황이 잘 도와주는 선생님이에요. 혜승이랑 수업이 없으면 제 한국어는 실력이 늘지 않을 것 같아요. 가르쳐서 고마워요. <3

This was my first lesson with Hyeseung and I enjoyed it very much. She asked lots of questions about my interests, giving me an opportunity to practice and learn new phrases that will be useful in the future. It's also great to receive notes at the end of the lesson so I can revise for next time.

I have had conversation lessons on and off with Hyeseung for 2 years now. Each lesson feels so natural, like chatting and laughing with a friend over coffee, that I always forget I am practicing my target language. She knows how to keep conversation varied so that no lesson feels the same, she provides new vocabulary to improve my speaking abilities, and keeps everything tracked in a google doc so I can always review everything that was discussed. I highly recommend Hyeseung's lessons!
