As you saw in my video i am Dutch and i have been brought up with an open mind, i am atheist and mostly social democratic. But i am always open for Socratic conversations to learn about other peoples views. At the moment i lost my job due to Corona, that is why i am available almost all day everyday. I am very patient. I think it's important to make it fun and not forced. We can talk about anything you want, i am interested in many things so i can learn a lot from you! Don't hesitate to ask questions, non questions are stupid. My favorite quote is "Cogito ergo sum"from Descartes, it reminds you about that we don't know anything in life but life itself and that we should always be open to new information because we will keep learning until we breath our last breath. My next favorite quote connects to the last one and goes like this "the more you know the more you know you don't know" from Aristotle. Jason is a super cool teacher! I study Dutch with him for 3 month already and I see the results! And my Dutch colleagues noticed that as well. What also important to add - the lessons are very interesting and engaging! And homeworks too. Don’t want to spoiler, just go to his lessons!

As it was my first ever tutoring lesson with someone on italki, Jason made a welcoming introduction, and we discussed what my goals were to learning dutch and overall it was very fun to talk with!

Jason is a great teacher (and he is verry patient as I struggle with beginning Dutch)! Over the last set of lessons, I have become much more confident in my ability to speak Dutch, and I plan on coming back for more! I highly recommend him!

Jason is a great teacher! It’s really helpful to be able to ask questions about the language. I’m getting a foundational understanding of important grammar concepts and a lot of practice speaking, which have allowed me to progress in my learning.
