Isa spends the first minutes asking about my weekend or day, she listens to my stories and translates them to Portuguese and tells me her stories that are similar so it seems like a casual and friendly back and forth. Then at the end she went over words that I spoke about but she translated them in Portuguese and helped me make sentences with them in Portuguese, and corrected my pronunciation or sentence structure. She's the best!

Isabela is an incredible teacher! very patient, supportive and knowledgeable. She has really helped to improve my Portuguese and made the process very enjoyable.

Isa is an absolute gem! Her energy is contagious and she makes every lesson feel like a fun conversation. I love that she sticks to Portuguese the entire time. Even when I am stuck she uses synonyms and examples in Portuguese until it clicks. It is true immersion! She is talkative in the best way possible creating a great back and forth dynamic. She has me read aloud to practice my pronunciation and provides a curated list of struggle words plus podcasts for homework. If you want a tutor genuinely invested in your progress look no further! Isa es una tutora increíble con una energía súper positiva. Me habla en portugués todo el tiempo y si no entiendo algo me da ejemplos en el mismo idioma hasta que lo entiendo. Las clases son dinámicas porque compartimos historias y eso ayuda muchísimo al oído. Me corrige la pronunciación de forma constructiva y siempre me deja material extra como podcasts para seguir practicando. ¡Es súper dedicada! Ela é a melhor!
