Adriana is enthusiastic and has a real passion for teaching. I always look forward to lessons and am really excited by the progress I've made, I feel that since working with Adriana the idea of becoming fluent in Spanish really is posible. Of course learning a language requires a lot of practice and hard work, and Adriana continues to push me by providing me with a variety of resources to help assist my learning outside of classes. Despite the obvious challenges and frustrations of learning a language, classes with Adriana are always fun and while we rarely resort to using English, it certainly helps that Adriana's fluency in English helps her to understand the pitfalls of an English speaker learning Spanish, as well as having a real grasp of the nuance between the two languages. I can't recommend lessons with Adriana enough!

I am a lawyer from the United States and I am serious about learning Spanish for business and personal reasons. I have been using Adriana along with a couple other tutors for around 6 months. Adriana is INCREDIBLY smart in general and you can tell she has a rock-solid education in teaching languages. She is without a doubt an educated, professional language teacher. She has come close to mastering English as a second language and speaks almost like a native speaker from the United States, which is nice because she can explain things perfectly in English when needed. And she has this innocent, cute personality that make her lessons very enjoyable. If you're serious about learning Spanish, and want a highly educated, professional Spanish professor to help you one-on-one, I can't recommend Adriana enough. With the help of Adriana over the last 3 years I have gone from knowing nothing more than "Hola" to reading the books of authors such as Gabriel García Márquez, enjoying YouTube content and podcasts of native Spanish speakers, and being able to communicate effectively while travelling around Spain, Peru and Colombia. There's no doubt that it has required a lot of effort but lessons with Adriana have been a constant throughout, and have been essential to making sure I stay motivated and most importantly that I'm having fun.
