I’ve spent the past 15 years living internationally and am currently based in the south of Portugal. Living in different countries has given me first-hand experience of both the challenges of learning a new language and the unique joy of discovering a culture through it, step by step. Over the last four years, I’ve supported more than 250 students from around the world in learning English and Italian. I help learners with different levels and learning styles clarify their goals and reach them with confidence. As a teacher, connecting with my students and understanding their needs is very important to me. I’m flexible in my teaching approach and always open to shaping a learning program that reflects each student’s level, personality, and interests. Quoting Socrates, “Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel.” I base my teaching on this simple yet powerful principle. I believe that each of us has great potential, which can truly emerge when learning is driven by curiosity and pleasure rather than obligation or pressure.

Simone is a really good teacher. He doesn't only give the lessons, but he follows your needs, records your progress, there is always something to learn from him. The lesson with him never gets bored. when I start to have more time I would like to practice my writing with him as well.
