Ottavia is very professional and nice person, knows very well the structure of CELI/CILS exams and bring confidence in a student. She is also very objective and pragmatic it teaching so the class goes very efficient and time flies! I enjoyed it a lot!

Ottavia is a great teacher. She knows very well how to adjust to the level of the student and provides a great mix of conversation and exercises during the lessons. She is always very well prepared and understands which topics help the student best to progress.

I have been taking lessons with Ottavia for about two months now, and it’s safe to say that I’m seeing massive improvement in my ability to speak Italian all thanks to her. She is very patient with me, and is very articulate when explaining new concepts or when correcting my mistakes as we go along. Very committed to our lessons, and full of beautiful energy - I have never come across a better teacher than Ottavia!

Ottavia is an excellent teacher of Italian. She always comes prepared with clear lecture notes and exercises, and she sets the pace of the class perfectly. She slows down if she senses that I struggle with a concept and always finds an alternative approach to elucidate the point, and if I am following the material comfortably, she picks up the pace to use the class time efficiently. She patiently guides me to the correct answer when I make mistakes, always with kindness and a smile. Ottavia is a delightful person with a superb sense of humor, keeping the class lively and interesting; I hardly notice the hour go by. She is also very knowledgeable about CELI/CILS exam preparation. Still, even if you are not preparing for these exams, her examination expertise is helpful in setting concrete goals for your learning. If you aim to make rapid progress in your Italian language journey, Ottavia should be your first choice!
