Since starting with Mark I have made tremendous progress. I went from being anxious about speaking to being able to express myself. I still make many errors but we have enjoyable conversations, which is why I started to learn in the first place!

Mark was great and very patient as I repeated the same sentences over and over again. He asks great questions to keep the conversation flowing and lets me speak most of the time during class. He listens to you and tries to understand what you are saying, before correcting you / letting you know how to say it better in German. He treats you like a German friend, so he is really stretching your vocabulary list (also very important when you want to be fluent). Someone from work also called me during our session and he was very understanding! I do feel like it's better if he writes down some of the things he taught me so that I can learn not only how to use it in conversation but also how to write / spell it. But overall, it was a really great session and I would def recommend him as a conversation partner.

Mark is very friendly and patient. He understood me well even when I struggle to conjure up my words. I appreciate his translation in the chatbox so it's easy for me to revise. Highly recommend!
