Hi there! My name is Shiori. From Nara,Japan.
I lived in Australia for 2years, after that I traveled around the world(over 40 countries)by bicycle and backpacker. Now, I'm living in Paraguay.
When I was traveling, I met a lot of people, and I realized that each country has its own respective culture.
Understanding other cultures and languages is really really interesting!!!
Also, when I was a Uni student, my major was Japanese culture and history.
so, especially if you have an interest in Japanese culture(Anime, Manga, history, travel etc,,,)
we can talk about it too!
I'm so happy that you have an interest in Japanese!
I'm looking forward to talking with you:)

I’ve been learning Japanese with Shiori-sensei for about three years, and she has played a crucial role in my language journey. Before starting with her, I was already an intermediate Japanese speaker. But it was at this level that it became challenging to stay consistent on my own.
I decided to try italki, and she was one of the first teachers I trialed. She was the only one I continued with, and I'm so glad I did. She is incredibly flexible, whether it’s discussing any topic of your choice or focusing on specific aspects of Japanese, such as JLPT preparation. She also takes detailed notes on any vocabulary or grammar points I struggled with or learned during each lesson and sends them to me afterward, which has been invaluable.
Thanks to her support, I’ve been able to significantly improve my Japanese skills, achieving JLPT N1 and even enrolling in a Japanese university. I’ll always remember my time with Shiori-sensei and the positive impact she had on my learning.
