Hello, my name is Rae and I am an English teacher from South Africa.
I have a Bachelors degree with Honours in Education, with the following specialisations:
- Foundation Phase Teaching
- Online Teaching and Learning
- Development of Online Materials
I enjoy spending time outdoors and being surrounded by nature.
I have a passion for food and I love exploring different cultures through their unique cuisines.

I studied for 5 years at the University of the Witwatersrand where I received my Bachelors degree with Honours in Education.
My specializations have geared me in the following ways:
Foundation Phase Teaching - I am able to start teaching from the very basic levels of the English language to much more advanced levels.
Online Teaching and Learning - I know exactly how to structure my lessons within an online environment for optimal benefit to my students.
Development of Online Materials - I can fully develop my own teaching and learning materials which I will use during my lessons.

I will structure my lessons based on each of my students needs.
Whether my students want a structured lesson or a more informal conversational lesson, I can provide both, and anything in between.
I like to spend a few minutes at the beginning of each lesson to recap what was covered in the previous lesson. At the end of each lesson I can also issue additional homework for my students to complete in their own time to help reinforce what they are learning.
I encourage my students to ask as many questions as possible to ensure that they understand everything clearly before moving on. I believe that learning should be fun and I want all my students to feel comfortable and enjoy our lessons.Moje materiały dydaktyczne

The lesson with Rae was excellent! I had fun and learned a lot! She was extremely encouraging and patient and well-prepared! I'm a language teacher myself, so I feel qualified to judge her teaching ability. I will book more lessons! I look forward to see you next week!

Rae is the best teacher I've ever had. Always listening, patient, we can talk about any topic. She corrects you when you need, and lets you talk. You learn by talking without boring grammar lessons. I recommend her without hesitation. Thanks again!

Rae is an excellent teacher who makes learning fun and engaging, which is incredibly important for my daughter. She uses creative methods and activities that keep my daughter motivated, and I have seen her language skills improve quickly.
