Hi Everyone! I'm Billy! I'm from gorgeous Sydney, Australia and love to watch films, cook and eat beautiful food, take my dog for a stroll, play video games and travel! I've been extremely lucky enough to visit plenty of countries and work in numerous jobs around the world, and have decided to finally join this lovely community! By good fortune, I've learnt that gift of knowledge is tied with the gift of joy as one of the most positive things in life, and I hope I can experience both here with you all during lessons! 私は日本語も話せる！ Saya juga bisa ngomong bahasa Indonesia! I'm so looking forward to learning with you all - and hopefully make some friends along the way! I've worked as a teacher at a high school tutoring company, and am presently also maintaining a freelance tutoring business for elementary school students - having helped students of all ages on their entrance exams! I am currently fortunate enough to be working in developmental psychology; devising and conducting therapy for children with mental disability. It's through these experiences, witnessing the growth of students, that I've come to realise the significance of learning through connection, and is why I've taken to italki to interact with people around the globe! I believe I truly have a great deal to learn from you all, and would love to, perhaps, teach you something in return! I've never been a fan of formal, rigid teaching, and have over the years devised a relaxed teaching process for my students! ...

As always, the class was excellent. I absolutely love the fact that our lessons don`t feel like the lessons we all used to, it feels like catching up with a friend because the classes are, not at any point boring and you can discuss whatever you want practising English at the same time. Billy always cheers me up, not only regardless of learning the language but the life and its hustles itself. So grateful for that

One of the best teachers I've ever had on italki. If you want an easy-going teacher with a wide perspective don't hasitate to choose Billy. He always has materials ready for our lesson but he always listens to you and doesn't just ask another pre-arranged question. Sometimes we don't even get to the materials and just chat about current events in the world or our lives. Highly recomended!
