Speaking to Iva was a lot of fun and very productive. I learnt a lot of worthwhile language and grammar in order to express my self in the future. I recommend both of Iva’s classes, she’s truly an amazing teacher.

As always, Iva쌤 was prepared, patient, and purposeful with her lesson (the 3 P's). She can teach everyone from complete beginners to advanced learners. Her grammar teaching approach is great especially for intermediate learners looking to get over the "intermediate plateau". She is able to stick to Korean to explain concepts in simpler ways, without resorting to English. Highly recommend her grammar lessons!

Super friendly and great to talk with. She naturally works in the vocabulary that you are using, and consistently writes down any new / relevant language that would pertain to your subject or interest.

I’ve only been learning Korean from Iva for a month and I seriously can’t believe the progress I’ve made. Her lessons are well structured (with plenty of freedom to allow for natural conversation, too) and she is an outstanding communicator who can use Korean words I already know to explain concepts and vocabulary. My lessons with Ms. Iva over the past several months have been engaging, intentional, and productive. As a Korean-American, I wanted build upon the Korean I picked up from my parents by improving my speaking skills, grammar, and vocabulary. Each lesson allowed me to practice new words and phrases (prepared and sent to me in advance by Ms. Iva) in a natural conversational setting. She thinks of thoughtful questions during our discussions and shows great patience whenever I am struggling to find my words. Ms. Iva is also familiar with Korea’s current trends and slang, which bolsters my confidence in her teaching. I’m really grateful for her instruction!

Iva's lessons are a challenge, but fun and engaging. We reviewed several grammar topics that I had learned a few years ago but didn't remember that well, but even though it was grammar, it felt more like a conversation. I'm looking forward to continuing lessons and hopefully making more progress!
