I grew up in Italy (since age 3), so Italian isn’t just something I studied it’s how I think, speak, and live every day. With 5+ years of teaching experience, I’ve learned one thing: you don’t improve by memorizing rules, you improve by actually using the language. That’s exactly what we do. So far I've had 2 lessons with Martin. I am a beginner and I know it is not easy to know where to begin with someone like me. To his credit, Martin has been patient in these meetings, and has identified concepts that I need to address right away. He explains things when making corrections. He gave me some homework, which I appreciate, because although I can be self-directed to some degree, it is nice to have structure when preparing for a class. I plan on taking more classes with Martin!
