I have completed three lessons with Genie, and her teaching system is exactly what I needed! There are many Korean tutors online, and many can teach you phrases from your favorite K-dramas. But if you are serious about learning the language—and building a strong foundation—you need a structured approach from a language educator. That is what Genie provides. Genie has developed a structured teaching system and materials that guide both the lessons and the homework between them. The materials combine reading, writing, and speaking exercises, along with pronunciation videos that reinforce the homework. She pairs this structured approach with a friendly attitude that feels more like learning with a friend. For context, I started from 'zero' through an app and YouTube videos. I quickly realized I needed a structured approach and pronunciation feedback from a native speaker. After three lessons, I am confident Genie is helping me build a strong foundation.

Really enjoyed my 30 minute session today with Genie쌤, wish it was longer. I took a few of class with different tutors just to find the right tutor for me, glad I find my teacher. Highly recommended!!!! Excited to book my sessions!!!!
