Hi, my name is Verena, a German teacher based in Thailand with five years experience! Besides tailor-made language courses from levels A1 to C1, I also offer test preparation for all levels (Goethe-Zertifikat, TELC, etc.). Apart from languages (currently trying to learn Spanish!), scuba diving and travelling are my biggest passions. I also love reading, cooking, baking and cats! Are you a bit nervous about booking an online class? Don't be! In my classes I try to put my students at ease, so they feel comfortable and relaxed. For me, every student is special and I prepare every lesson based on their individual needs and goals. I also pride myself on my listening skills and put a lot of work into my students’ confidence to speak. Because in my experience, if you really want to learn a new language, you have to speak it as much as possible! My lessons are tailor-made for my students: some like structured lessons with textbooks and grammar exercises, while others prefer something more easy-going. It's up to you! Another great lesson with Verena, I have been studying with her for some time now and each time I'm very excited for the next lesson. I like how she corrects me and I make sure not to repeat the same mistakes. Learning with Verena is very easy and always fun, we always have a lot to talk about and one hour with her flies way too fast. I also like the materials she is using for studying, the books are very well structured and help not only with speaking and reading, but also with grammar and vocabulary.

Verena war sehr freundlich, mit klarer Aussprache. Gut fand ich, dass sie Fehler gleich korrigiert, damit sie sich nicht einschleifen. Außerdem hat sie gute Tipps zur Deutschprüfung gegeben.
