Hello! I'm Alexandra. I was born and live in Moscow. I've been teaching since 2019, mostly English for Russian teens and adults.
I'm here on Italki to help you maintain learning Russian without annoying frustration. I did Cultural Studies at University, so I know what deconstruction of a piece of content is. I use it in my teaching method now.
As a person, I love beautiful things, art, design and Italian cuisine. I'm studying Italian language and Maths as a hobby. I strive to create beauty myself and hope our lessons will be the case.Ja jako nauczyciel
I'm providing my own unique method of learning Rusian with songs which I developped through work with my students. I basically simplify complex things and complicate simple things when needed. It makes my method rather adjustable to the level of the student.
Moreover, I highlight the importance of speaking practice. Our lessons are a dialogue in which we elicit the vocabulary of the studied songs. Not mere translation but this interaction with the imagery and contexts lead to deeper understandring and further the ability to use new words and prases.

Song is our anchor and we dance around it (yes, poetic).
We work in shared presentations that I create for you in advance, then I make notes there during the lesson and eventually it becomes your personal, sort of, student's book that you can revise.

Мне посчастливилось изучать русский язык с Александрой, и я с уверенностью могу сказать, что это выдающийся преподаватель. Её страсть к обучению и глубокое знание языка действительно вдохновляют.
