Hi! My name is Andrea. I'm a native Spanish speaker from Mexico. I've been a Spanish tutor for a year. I am a person who loves exchanging ideas and perspectives with others around the world. I am learning Thai and Japanese at the time. I love singing and practicing sports as swimming, pilates and martial arts. I also love doing crafts, I sew, paint and do other things with cloth!

With patience, we will adapt classes to your needs, acquire vocabulary, fluency and gain confidence. I have experienced learning languages and sharing my tips of learning efficiently and fast through the classes in one of my aims.
I'm always interested in knowing my students' aspirations, hobbies, and goals towards the language so that I can plan interesting and fun classes where they feel comfortable making mistakes to learn from.

There is not a wrong way to learn a language, just a different way to approach a learning method. That's why I like to teach by comprehensible input to acquire Spanish. Mixing it with the best way students know they learn.

Time I wait in the case the student is late, for a 45 minute clase I'll wait 10 min., for a 1 hour class 15 min. and if it's a trial class or a 30 min. class, I'll wait 10 minutes.

Andy has all the traits of a great educator. She's prepared for every class, flexible enough to change topics during a lesson, and creates such a wonderfully encouraging environment for learning. Even after a short break, we picked up right where we left off and revisited concepts that she remembered I needed help with. She has helped me grow so much in my Spanish learning and I'm so appreciative of her as a teacher!

Andy is GREAT! She understands how I am learning and makes her teaching style vary based on my understanding. So easy to work with! She has a great knowledge and understanding of English which helps me understand, and she also has a true linguists love for language, appreciating the slang as well as learning the “correct” way as well.
