My name is Daniel, I'm half Portuguese and half English. I have a Bachelor's degree in Languages, Literatures and Cultures and a Master's in Education of English and French.
I love languages and linguistics, but I also love music. I sing and play piano.
I listen to a lot of Pop, but I also really like classical music and Jazz.
I love comedies yet somehow always end up watching horror films in cinemas.
I also like reading books and playing video games, but I rarely have time for that nowadays, mostly due to study.Ja jako nauczyciel
I have been teaching languages since 2017. I have taught children and adults in all levels. I'm quick at pointing out recurring mistakes and I work to find the reason behind those mistakes and to make sure they don't become a habit. I'm also a huge grammar geek.
I believe language learning should be a pleasurable experience and that everyone has their own way of learning. As a teacher, my goal is to help you improve your learning methods as well. You don't learn languages just with lessons, you also have to find other ways of immersing yourself.Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
My lessons are a compromise between what you want to learn and what I know you have to learn. If you tell me what your interested in or what motivates your wants to learn a language, I will try to create content around those topics to make the lessons more enjoyable.
I like giving some sort of homework, whether it is a written assignment or watching a movie, reading an article. These activities not only allow you to keep learning beyond our lessons, but also give us material to talk about as the lessons continue.Moje materiały dydaktyczne

I really liked Daniel's approach to the teaching/studying.
He easily and naturally switches between English and Portuguese when necessary.

I feel like I'm in good hands with Daniel. He is great at explaining grammar and is clearly very knowledgeable. He also gave some tips for my learning journey and what I should do between lessons.

Daniel is not only an excellent teacher, but also a wonderful person. He knows a lot about Portuguese grammar and culture. He was extremely helpful in my preparation for the CIPLE exam! I warmly recommend Daniel to anyone interested in starting to learn Portuguese or improving their current level!
