Hello! I'm Gio. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I am a licensed professional teacher here in our country and I am also an ESL online teacher to Japanese people. I have been a professional teacher for over eight years now and it helped me grow and improve as a person and as a teacher.
I love, reading books, journaling, watching movies,baseball and sometimes, I also play computer and mobile games.
We can talk about a lot of things that will help you in your learning journey.
I am a passionate and patient teacher. I am also flexible because I can teach children, teens, adults, and professionals. I am a good listener, too! I love listening to my students' stories while helping them express their thoughts using their chosen language.
I really love teaching especially when I see that my students are learning no matter how hard or easy the lesson is.
As your teacher, I will help you learn and enjoy your journey of learning a new language.

Gino was wonderful with helping me to pronounce Tagalog. He corrected me when needed, he was patient when I had troubles and had to repeat a word multiple times, as well as supportive when I started you get frustrated.

We stareted our conversation in a comfortable way and Gio corrected my mispronounciation. What I found interesting was that Gio provided me with some new phrasal verbs that are relevant to my current profession. This enabled me to use better choice of phrasal verb.
