Hi! My name is Laetitia, I am a French native and professional language teacher from Normandy in France. I have been teaching for more than 10 years in different language schools and online, and have been enjoying 2 years on italki.
Like you, I also like learning languages, discovering new places and meeting people from around the world. I have lived and worked as a language teacher in France, Spain, Germany and Russia.
I mainly teach French (A1 to C2), and I also specialize in:
- teaching French, English, German and Spanish to children (from 3 to 12 years old)
- teaching English, German, Spanish and Russian (mainly grammar A1 to B1).

I am a professional language teacher with a bachelor's degree in "Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE)" and a master's degree in "European Languages and Linguistics" from the University of Caen in France. I teach group classes and individual lessons with adults, teenagers and children. Also, I specialize in the innovative teaching method "Hocus & Locus" which is a fun way for young children from the age of 3 to learn a foreign language with stories, songs and theater. I also teach children in "Lycée Français" (CP, CE1, CE2, CM1, CM2, collège and lycée).
My philosophy is that you will learn best while having fun! We will speak a lot so that French becomes your second nature :)Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
To expand your vocabulary we will talk, read, roleplay, describe images, invent stories, watch videos and more.
To improve your overall level we will also work on grammar units.
1- Beginner (A1) - We will start with an A1 beginner course and I will speak slowly.
2- Basic to Advanced (A2-C2) - We will focus on conversation skills. By speaking and listening to a French native, French will come more natural to you. Your fluency will improve and you will be able to speak French with more confidence. I will correct your grammar and pronunciation and also introduce new grammar and vocabulary to you so that your level of French keeps improving. :)

My daughter loves her lessons with Laetitia! Every lesson is very engaging, and we have all been captured by the magical world of Hocus and Lotus! After just over a year of lessons with Laetitia our daughter was brave enough to go to a "Club de Plage" on holidays and had great fun playing with other French kids! Highly recommend!

My daughters, 5 and 6, decided that after several lessons with their previous (in-person) tutor, they couldn't speak French and it was too hard. Laëtitia had them laughing and speaking a bit in the first lesson. I'm so thankful to have found her.
