Hi! I’m Fliss, a certified TEFL teacher with a passion for turning language goals into reality. I specialize in **IELTS/TOEIC exam prep** (with a track record of helping students hit their target scores!) and **Academic English** for teens/adults aiming for university or career success. Whether you need structured exam strategies, polished essays, or confident conversation, I’ll tailor lessons to your needs.
As a language learner myself (fluent in French, conversational in Spanish), I *get* the challenges—and the breakthroughs! My proofreading expertise also sharpens CVs, applications, and academic writing.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me cycling or hiking in the countryside.
I am a fun teacher and always have plenty of subjects to discuss with my students, which help expand their English vocabulary. This is particularly important for students hoping to study or work in an English speaking country. Having studied French to Level C1 and Spanish to Level B1, I have a lot of experience in learning languages. So, I am aware of the challenges, frustrations and difficulties associated with learning a language! However, it can be so very rewarding too. There is nothing better than being able to communicate in a different language. It feels amazing, and is very good for the brain! I am very patient, encouraging, and full of enthusiasm.
