My name is Martha Heckel, and I was raised in a bicultural environment, which has granted me native proficiency in both German and Spanish. I hold a degree in *Germanistik* (German as a Foreign Language) from Kassel University in Germany, completed through a distance learning program. With over 20 years of teaching experience, including roles at the Goethe Institute and preparing students for DAAD scholarships, I specialize in helping learners achieve fluency efficiently—whether they are beginners starting from scratch (A1) or advancing to intermediate levels (B2). In 2001 I began to teach German as a Foreign Language at the German Cultural Center which is the official representative of the Goethe Institute in the City of Monterrey- Mexico.

It was only the introduction class. I just booked 30 minutes. I wanted to introduce myself and what I expect about next classes. We have spoken about the goals, how the classes will be and what I want to achieve. We had time to do one activity.

Frau Heckel is eine tolle Lehrerin und auch eine sehr liebe Frau. Sie hat viele Erfahrungen als Deutschlehrerin, und hat früher als Dozentin an einer Uni gearbeitet. Ich kann sie sehr gut empfehlen.
