Friendly, supportive, accommodating, pleasant to talk to. If these are what you're looking for in a Japanese teacher, then Naoya-san is the teacher for you. I've taken Naoya-san's lessons for the past several weeks, and he is always flexible as to the contents and style of teaching and happy to answer language questions from a Japanese language teacher and a native speaker's perspective. Every lesson is always something I look forward to each week.

Naoya continues to be a favorite! He does a lot to help with conversations and lets you talk as much as you're comfortable with! He also helps push you to saying certain words or phrases as best you can before he helps you with the structure. If you forget something simple or basic, he won't immediately correct you but try and help you correct it yourself. Highly recommended, especially for very fun conversation practice!
