I’m a certified teacher of Swedish and Swedish for Immigrants (SFI). I’ve worked as a teacher of Swedish and Spanish in Sweden, and as a teacher of Swedish as a foreign language at universities in both Europe and Asia. With me, you can study Swedish from the beginner level all the way up to the advanced level. I make sure you practice all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with a lot of repetition. You can get explanations in Swedish, English, or Spanish. I mainly work with textbooks from the Rivstart series (A1-C1), but I have access to other textbooks as well, if you already work with another book. Summer vacation 2026: July 6 - August 7.

I'm having a great time so far with Josef! He is experienced, professional, friendly and knowledgeable (believe me, I'm a teacher too, and a nitpicky one at that :-)). His knowledge of other languages really helps me to grasp Swedish better. The hour went by really fast!

I've been learning Swedish with Josef for over two months now. I always look forward to talking with him. I really appreciate his deep insights in Swedish linguistics including grammar and pronunciation. His Japanese knowledge is a plus for me as a native speaker of Japanese.
