Greetings! I'm Kaito, a Tokyo-born Japanese language educator with 5+ years of experience teaching over 400 students worldwide. Currently embarking on such a UNIQUE jurney - traveling across all 47 Japanese prefectures in my DIY camper van while conducting online language instruction. My international background includes teaching in Sydney where I took professional language teaching course for teachers. and also had lived in California for college and surfing. Had a really positive lesson with Kaito-san! After learning that I would like to work towards the JLPT exams, he came prepared with various exam material. He was cheerful and patient throughout the lesson and was great at explaining vocab or kanji I hadn't come across before. Great first lesson!

Kaito is an encouraging and engaging teacher. I am at an intermediate level and want to learn how to speak more naturally and he has taught me some handy substitutions I can make to transform my speech from sounding too formal to sounding more natural.

Kaito was amazing as always. He does a great job at naturally steering the conversation and finding unique was to explain grammar points and unknown words without resorting to English at first. He also did a great job of creating a graphic on the go to explain a grammar point!

Kaito does a great job at keeping the conversation going, especially if you're not sure where to head next. He makes it feel like you're just talking with a friend. When there were things I wasn't sure of, he would find synonyms in Japanese that might already be in my vocabulary to help me figure out what he was saying. Looking forward to my next lesson!
