Hi there,
I'm Barbara from Munich (Germany).
Not only am I a tutor here, but also a student of 4 languages and I really LOVE italki!
I studied Psychology and International Business Communication and have been working as a hypnosis coach since 2013.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking (okay, my boyfriend cooks and I eat, haha), dancing (ballroom, Salsa, belly dance) and I sing and play the guitar.
We can speak about everything that is of interest for you or have a role play.
PS: Unfortunately, it happens very often that people keep me waiting in front of the computer and don’t show up!

Language learning should be FUN!
I want to help you feel RELAXED and not nervous when speaking German. Since I have many italki teachers myself, I know how important it is, to make the student speak. YES - YOU HAVE TO SPEAK! IN GERMAN! And I promise: It's not as hard as you think! Let's neglect the difficult grammar for a while and you will be surprised how soon you will be able to comunicate!
Let me give you an example:
What if I said: "Have he cat?" instead of "Does he have a cat?" - It's wrong, but totally understandable!
-> So if you say "Er haben Katze?" instead of "Hat er eine Katze?" everybody will be able to understand you!Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
I am very outgoing and friendly and would like to make you laugh - or at least smile!
I appreciate that you want to learn German and don't care AT ALL if you say something wrong!
Please relax, grab yourself a cup of coffee/tea, lean back, breath in and out and let's start our class!

I highly recommend Barbara! Her calm and caring personality helped me feel more relaxed speaking German and comfortable making mistakes. I was nervous for the first lesson but also determined to try my best to speak as much German as I could. Barbara helped me when I got stuck and kept the conversation going in such a relaxing way.
