I had a really nice lesson with Maude. I really like her teaching style. She spoke slowly and clearly in order to adapt to my level and tried to explain new words also in French!

Level of correction was not as good as many. general knowledge seemed lacking in comparison with many other teachers. Enthusiasm also unremarkable. Her price point was fair. She did a fine job, but that’s it. Many teachers are interesting, enthusiastic, and can correct you in a way that is more helpful. She’s just not as skilled at teaching as some, and seems to have less experience. It was just ok.

Maude is an outstanding tutor — patient, encouraging and incredibly easy to talk to. What I appreciate most is how naturally our conversations flow; it feels like chatting with a friend rather than sitting in a lesson. We dive into topics that push my abilities, and I notice real improvement every time. I started with 30‑minute sessions but quickly upgraded to an hour. Totally worth it.
